Sustainable Energy Solutions Training Programme

On the 10 of September 2013, the deadline for applications to the Professional Development Programme on Sustainable Energy Solutions to be conducted on 12 – 19 November 2013 jointly by the UNIDO Institute and ICPE has passed.

The programme attracted significant attention and interest from professionals in the field of energy from around the world. More than 500 applications were received from both academia and practitioners from more than 70 countries. It is noteworthy that many applications were received from the ICPE member states, namely, Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, India, Iran, Guyana, Macedonia, Nepal, Slovenia, Syria, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambian. Other applicants are from Afghanistan, Belize, Benin, Canada, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Chile, China, Côte d'Ivoire, Croatia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mexico, Mozambique, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Togo, Ukraine, and Vietnam as well as from neighbouring countries as Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, and Kosovo to mention a few.
