Government of The Republic of Slovenia adopted the initiative to sign Memorandum on Cooperation with ICPE

On its last session before summer holidays on 28 July 2011, Government of The Republic of Slovenia adopted the initiative to sign Memorandum on Cooperation between the Government of The Republic of Slovenia and International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE). Minister Dr Igor Lukšič was authorized to sign it.

The goal of this Memorandum is to increase the cooperation between the ICPE and the Republic of Slovenia as a member and a host country to ICPE. Main areas of cooperation, where there is mutual interest to implement individual programs and projects, are public sector enterprises, internationalization and diversification of the Slovenian economy and higher educational system to ICPE member states, cooperation with international organizations, and other areas.

This memorandum is a legal base for more concrete Joint Action Plans with mutually agreed projects or programmes with individual ministries and other government bodies/institutions. Its practical realization/implementation will depend on: concrete material/financial possibilities of individual ministries/agencies, personnel/experts availability and their knowledge and on the programmes of cooperation between ICPE and other member states (present and future).
