HE Dr. Surood R.Najib, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq visited ICPE

On Thursday, 10 April 2014, HE Dr. Surood R.Najib, Ambassador and Mr Labib N. Al-Khudairy, Second Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Vienna, Austria, paid a visit to ICPE.

Iraq was one of the funding member states of ICPE and both sides have recently attempted to renew the cooperation. Acting Director General Mr Podobnik presented the recent ICPE activities and the plans for 2014 as well as requested the Ambassador to nominate a counterpart organisation in Iraq. Ambassador Dr. Najib emphasized that ICPE and Iraq could cooperate in various aspects, e.g., education, technology, construction, medicine, sport, etc.

ADG Mr Podobnik wished the Ambassador a pleasant stay in Ljubljana and thanked for the opportunity to discuss concrete projects also in the future.
