Opening reception of the Training program on “Sustainable Energy Solutions”

On Wednesday evening, November 19, the second day of the Training Program on sustainable Energy Solutions was concluded with a very successful Opening Reception, where the participants, the lecturers, distinguished guests as well as the event’s sponsors had a chance to unwind and mingle, while being entertained by Mr. Blaž Vrbič, a well-known Slovenian Jazz singer.

First of all ICPE Acting Director General, Mr. Janez Podobnik warmly welcomed Dr. Pradeep Monga, Director of the Energy and Climate Change Branch of UNIDO and Key initiator of the training program, with whom ICPE has developed a strong relationship, which we hope will continue to grow in a fruitful way in the future.

ICPE Acting Director General, Mr. Janez Podobnik also warmly welcomed Dr. Jacek Cukrowski, Chief of the UNIDO Institute for Capacity Development, the members of the ICPE MBA Alumni Club, as well as the representative of Executive Women from India, Ms. Renuka Gera, who also joined the Opening Reception. Last but not least ICPE Acting Director General, Mr. Janez Podobnik also addressed the participants of the training program, as many of them came from ICPE Member States, such as India, Sri Lanka, Syria and Slovenia.

ICPE finds it necessary to also take care of the informal, networking part, when hosting groups of professionals from all over the world. In this respect we would like to kindly thank our sponsors for making this event possible.
