ICPE Director of Projects, Mr Uroš Zver, met in Delhi with Secretary Deepak Gupta of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to Discuss ICPE’s CC TAP program and the planned Green MBA.
Mr Gupta expressed interest in possibilities of joint research. Some areas of strength in Indian technologies that could potentially be included in the tech transfer program were identified, incl. biogas, watermills, grids and wind, all of which could be useful in rural environments, micro- and small enterprises and households in other countries.
On the other hand, technologies India would be interested in attracting include mass production of low head hydro turbines.
