On Friday, 16 October 2015, ICPE concluded a one week International Training Programme on Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management, which was organized in cooperation with the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), India. 26 senior officers of Government of India participated in the programme accompanied by Mr. KS Gopinath Narayan, NIFM Course Director and Mr. Gopal Prasad, Director, Department of Expenditure.
Renowned diplomat, jurist and scholar Dr. Ernest Petrič, Constitutional Court awarded the Certificates to the participants. The Indian Ambassador HE Sarvajit Chakravarti who had inaugurated the programme attended the concluding ceremony as well. Mr. Robert Kokalj, Acting Director General, Directorate of Economic and Public Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned the increasing trade relations between Slovenia and India. The role of ICPE alumni in building stronger relations between the two countries was also appreciated. The ceremony was also attended by several government representatives of the Republic of Slovenia including and Dr. Janez Šumrada, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ms. Tea Glažar, Director General, Ministry of Education, Science and Sports.
Several ministries government of Slovenia also the central bank, autonomous institutions and academic centres of Slovenia cooperated in the programme which was directed by Ms Jožica Skube.
