In cooperation with National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), ICPE has for the first time organised a two weeks international training program (18 – 29 January 2016) on Budgeting in Accounting in Governmental Sector – Senior Professional Course. NIFM, located in Faridabad (India) is an autonomous institute of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The program, attended by 8 senior government officials of Government of India together with NIFM Associate Course Director Dr. Brajesh Kumar, commenced on Monday the 18 January at the ICPE headquarters. Course Director, ICPE, Mr David Tavželj welcomed the participants and the Ambassador of India to Slovenia Mr Sarvajit Chakravarti graced the inauguration with his presence as the guest of honour.
In the two week program the participants were exposed to various ministries in the Republic of Slovenia as well as other governmental bodies, such as the Tax Administration, Court of Audit and Bank of Slovenia. Apart from cultural exposure in Slovenia, participants also visited Venice, Italy, Graz and Vienna in Austria, where they could see the Austrian Parliament and visited the United Nations Vienna International Centre.
