On 10 October 2016, DG ICPE Dr Anand Asthana held a meeting with the Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, Dr Ajit Prasad. IIM Lucknow is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Management, which are public autonomous institutes in the field of management education and research. The Indian Institutes of management were established on the initiative of the first Prime Minister of India, Mr Jawaharlal Nehru. IIM Lucknow was established in 1984.
DG, ICPE and Director, IIM Lucknow discussed possibilities for collaboration starting in 2017. Dr Metka Tekavčič, Dean, Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana and professor Nevenka Hrovatin, ICPE’s academic partners attended the meeting and presented the activities of the Faculty, which will commemorate it’s 70th Anniversary on 20 October 2016.
It was decided that a batch of 40 MBA students will be visiting Slovenia for an international exposure module in Slovenia in Spring next year, which will cover, apart from the academic inputs also the industry visits to innovative companies in Slovenia.
