TRAINING IN ACCOUNTS AND INTERNAL AUDIT

On May 8 2017 the ICPE International Training Programme – Diploma in Government Accounting & Internal Audit commenced at the Centre’s headquarters in Ljubljana, in cooperation with the National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad, India. 31 officers, led by the Course Director Dr Reetu Sharma and accompanied by Ministry Nominee Mr Chittaranjan Dash IRS, Director, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, will have a one week exposure to different best practices in the field of auditing, government accounting and good governance. Apart from lectures on the economy of the European Union, Fiscal/Monetary policy, knowledge/innovation management, Anti-corruption measures and Public Private Partnerships, the participants will also have a discussion with the Head of Permanent Representation of European Commission in Ljubljana, see the National Assembly and exchange views with their counterparts from governmental bodies of the Republic of Slovenia, such as the Public Payments Administration of Slovenia, Agency for Public Oversight Of Auditing and the Court of Audit.
