TRAINING IN BUDGETING, ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

In cooperation with India’s National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), ICPE organised a one week international training program on Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management. In the last week of September. The program attended by 31 senior officers of Government of India. Director, NIFM Mrs Meena Agarwal was present throughout the programme.
The participants had the opportunity to get exposure on topics of monetary and fiscal policy in the EU and Slovenia, anti-corruption measures and the EU Economy. Presentations of financial management institutions, such as the Court of Audit, Agency for Public Oversight of Audit and Budget Supervision Office of the Ministry of Finance supplemented the theoretical input with practical implications. The participants also visited the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia
Secretary to the Government of India, Department of Public Enterprises, Mrs Seema Bahuguna, accompanied by HE Param Jit Mann, Ambassador of India and Col. Sharad Rastogi, Dir (Central Europe), Ministry of External Affairs graced the concluding ceremony with their presence and interacted with participants.
