On Tuesday 28 July 2020 the Ambassador of Egypt to Slovenia HE Reda Habib Zaki has visited ICPE headquarters and met the ICPE Acting Director General Ambassador Logar. In a fruitful discussion Acting DG Logar has presented the history of the ICPE as well as its current activities in the framework of four pillars that were adopted as a basis for ICPE’s revitalized programme. The ICPE Pool of Experts has designed a tailor made proposal for a two-day international conference that was handed to HE Ambassador Zaki for further discussions and his assessment of relevance of the proposal. Ambassadors agreed the importance of international cooperation is essential for development.
Additionally Ambassador Logar announced his visit to Cairo in the near future to discuss the potential collaboration between ICPE and Egypt with the governmental officials and especially to invite Egypt to become a full fledged member state of ICPE and have access to all ICPE’s services.
