On Tuesday 15 September 2020, the newly appointed Ambassador of India to Slovenia HE Namrata S Kumar paid an official visit to the ICPE headquarters.
Initially the Acting DG Ambassador Logar has introduced the latest developments with respect to the programme revitalization of ICPE.
Ambassador Kumar has emphasized the support of the Government of India for making the organization more energized in terms of new programme content that is relevant for the member states and exploring different possibilities for ICPE to emerge as an international think tank or a platform for exchange of know-how between member states.
ICPE has presented its initiative to organize an international conference and workshop that would be held in New Delhi sometime in November 2020, however due to the situation with the pandemic the event will be postponed. Instead of a live event ICPE will organize two High-Level Webinars with eminent guests and renowned experts in the fields of digital transformation for public administration and new space technologies for development. It is ICPE’s ambition to hold the webinars in September and October. Ambassador Logar has invited Ambassador Kumar to grace the participants of the webinar with her presence and hold a welcome speech, which Madam Ambassador kindly accepted.
ICPE will proceed with its process of revitalization along the lines of the discussion and seek the valuable support in its endavours with the ICPE Council President, currently held by Member State India.
