On February 7, 2024, Mr David Tavželj, the Executive Manager of the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE), had the honor of meeting with the esteemed Indian delegation, consisting of Ambassador of India to Slovenia HE Ms Namrata Kumar, Dr Sachin Chaturvedi, Director General of the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), and Prof Dhananjay Singh, Member Secretary of the Indian Council of Social Science Research.
The focal point of their discussion was the international workshop proposed by the ICPE during the Slovenian-Indian Day of Science and Innovation. Mr Tavželj took this opportunity to detail the ICPE’s planned activities for the year 2024, highlighting the organization’s historical collaboration with member state India. Emphasizing the longstanding partnership, he showcased how these joint efforts have led to numerous initiatives in short term and long term educational and training programmes for public officials.
Furthermore, the conversation explored the vast potential for South-South cooperation, a domain where ICPE could make meaningful contributions. The meeting concluded on an optimistic note, expressing enthusiasm for the discovery of new avenues for potential cooperation and reinforcing the commitment to a shared vision of development and innovation.
