On Thursday, 28 November 2024, representatives of the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) visited the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Vienna to engage in a constructive dialogue with His Excellency Ambassador M.L.K. Lenagala. The ICPE delegation, comprising Mr. David Tavželj, Executive Manager, Mr. Jure Tomc, Advisor, and Dr. Nenad Stanković, ICPE’s representative in Vienna, presented the organization’s latest initiatives aimed at fostering technology transfer and revitalizing cooperation with its member states. During the meeting, ICPE’s representatives highlighted the organization’s focus on deploying sustainable, technology-driven solutions tailored to the specific needs of member states. Ambassador Lenagala welcomed ICPE’s proactive approach and expressed Sri Lanka’s interest in exploring opportunities for closer collaboration with ICPE in areas of mutual interest.
It was agreed that ICPE would take the initiative to develop specific project proposals tailored to Sri Lanka’s priorities. These proposals will focus on the fields of agriculture and water management, areas identified as having significant potential for impactful collaboration. The aim is to revitalize the partnership between ICPE and Sri Lanka by focusing on practical, actionable outcomes. By preparing concrete activities with a clear implementation framework, ICPE seeks to align its efforts with Sri Lanka’s developmental goals.
