On Friday, 29 November 2024 representatives of the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) met with Dr. Raham Jothery, Counsellor for Bilateral Affairs at the Embassy of Iraq in Vienna, to discuss ICPE’s latest initiatives aimed at fostering technology transfer and strengthening ties with its member states. The ICPE delegation comprised of Mr. David Tavželj, Executive Manager, Mr. Jure Tomc, Advisor, and Dr. Nenad Stanković, ICPE’s representative in Vienna, provided an overview of the organization’s renewed focus on delivering sustainable, technology-driven solutions tailored to the needs of member countries.
During the meeting, ICPE presented its strategic approach to addressing developmental challenges through innovative and cost-effective solutions. Dr. Jothery expressed interest in ICPE’s proactive initiatives and acknowledged their potential to complement Iraq’s ongoing efforts in fostering sustainable development. Additionally, the Iraqi representative highlighted key areas of need, particularly in infrastructure development, water management and capacity building.
It was agreed that ICPE would develop concrete project proposal focusing on priority sectors, that will aim to provide actionable solutions, aligning with Iraq’s developmental goals while reinvigorating cooperation through practical and impactful initiatives. The discussions also reflected a mutual understanding that addressing Iraq’s infrastructure and capacity-building needs would be integral to ensuring long-term success and sustainability in future collaborations.
