ICPE to launch New Collaboration Initiative with ISED

The International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) is set to initiate a strategic partnership with India’s Institute of Small Enterprises and Development (ISED). This collaboration seeks to enhance international cooperation in enterprise development, entrepreneurship promotion, and sustainable business practices.

Following initial discussions between ICPE officials and Dr. P.M. Mathew, Director of ISED, several promising areas for joint initiatives were identified. Among these planned initiatives is the establishment of international awards designed to recognize and promote best CSR practices among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in India. The partnership will commence with an international hybrid conference planned for autumn 2025, connecting participants located at ICPE headquarters in Ljubljana and ISED in Cochin. The organizations also plan to seek cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

David Tavželj, Executive Manager of ICPE, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing Dr. Mathew’s extensive expertise in enterprise development and influential policy advocacy. The compatibility between ISED’s mission and ICPE’s strategic objectives was highlighted in anticipattion that this partnership would foster significant opportunities for knowledge exchange, recognition of innovation, and the dissemination of successful business practices throughout the ICPE Member States and other developing countries.
