ICPE Meeting with Ambassador of Zimbabwe

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) hosted a meeting with Mrs Alice Mashingaidze, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe, who was accompanied by Mr Sašo Nožič Serini, President of the Slovenia-Zimbabwe Business Club. During the meeting, ICPE representative Mr David Tavželj provided an overview of the Center’s historical development, outlined its strategic outlook for the future, and detailed the ongoing efforts to develop pilot projects and other services that support enterprises in developing countries through technology transfer, access to EU grant opportunities and dissemination of knowledge.

Ambassador Mashingaidze identified several promising opportunities for cooperation, particularly in fostering SMEs within the mining industry and agribusiness sectors, suggesting that pilot projects could be initiated in these areas. She also expressed a positive view of ICPE’s organizational approach to delivering actionable projects. Additionally, the ambassador informed about the upcoming European Union Zimbabwe Business Forum, scheduled for May 20–22, 2025, noting that the participation of ICPE at the event could be beneficial.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with ICPE extending an invitation to develop detailed project proposals as a preliminary step for evaluating potential collaborative opportunities with the Republic of Zimbabwe.
