On November 8, ICPE in partnership with Association for Development of Knowledge organized a round table on development of digital competencies, which occur as a consequence in the digitalization of processes and technologies. Mr Igor Zorko, vice-president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, responsible for SMEs and digitalization made a presentation on how digitalization is changing the practices in business and in everyday life.
Mr Borut Čampelj from the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport presented the framework of digital competencies for citizens and made a comparison on the EU and national level.
Examples of good practices were presented by two important Slovenian companies. Mr Niko Schlamberger, President of Slovenian Informatics Association made a presentation about teaching competencies.
The round table concluded with a lively discussion between the panelists and over 40 participants who attended. ICPE was represented by Mr David Tavželj, Head of Intl. Relations & EU Affairs.
