In cooperation with National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), ICPE is organizing a one week international training program (16 – 21 February 2015) on Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management. NIFM, located in Faridabad (India) is an autonomous institute of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The program, attended by 39 high representatives, NIFM Course Director and Group leader, Dr. Namrata Agrawal, together with 2 observers of the Ministry of Finance, has started today with an opening ceremony at the ICPE headquaters. The participants were welcomed by Mr. Janez Podobnik, ICPE Acting Director General, and Mr. Robert Shetkintong, Counsellor, Embassy of India to Slovenia.
The participants will attend several lectures by eminent representatives of the academia and acknowledged government officials, among other from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Administration, and get familiar with the Slovenian context as well as the European Union one. At the same time they will have the opportunity to get to know some of the rich historical and cultural heritage of Slovenia and Europe.
