ICPE and SEVE Sign Memorandum of Cooperation to Empower Women Entrepreneurs in Algeria

On 3 September 2025, the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) and the L’association des Femmes Algériennes Chefs d’Entreprises (SEVE) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, marking a new step in fostering women’s participation in enterprise development, innovation, and technology transfer.

The cooperation framework is designed to mobilize Algerian women entrepreneurs, researchers, and professionals to engage in ICPE’s project activities in Algeria and across other ICPE Member States. It emphasizes active roles for women in agriculture, engineering, science, and entrepreneurship, ensuring their involvement in the design, implementation, and commercialization phases of projects.

Through this partnership, ICPE will facilitate exchanges between Algerian women entrepreneurs and their counterparts in the host country of Slovenia and other ICPE member states, promoting South–South and triangular cooperation. SEVE will contribute its extensive national network and expertise to strengthen project outcomes and support sustainable economic growth.

The agreement reflects ICPE’s commitment to inclusive innovation and enterprise promotion, aligning with its broader mission to create opportunities and foster fair access to technology in developing countries and economies in transition.
