One year ago, on 19 December 2013 in New Delhi, India, Mr. Janez Podobnik, Acting Director General of the ICPE and Dr. R. K. Rao, Director General of the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Praful Patel, Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises at the time, attended the MoU signing besides other high level representatives of the Indian Government. It rarely happens that the agreed points of cooperation in an MoU realize as quickly. However, in the case of the ICPE-ASCI cooperation has been accomplished particularly due to the strong support of both directors, ASCI and ICPE and their teams.
The International Certificate Program in Business Management for the Women Executives (ICP-WX) of Central Public Sector Enterprises of India jointly carried out by ICPE, ASCI and their excellent partner, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, was held between 15 September and 12 December 2014, encompassing two months in Hyderabad, India, and one month in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Prof. Paramita Dasgupta and Prof. M. Chandrasekhar from ASCI came to Slovenia for the concluding week of the International Certificate Program, and expressed their positive views and gratefulness for the well-prepared program.
At the ICPE Headquarters mutual wishes of an intense cooperation in 2015 also in partnership with other institutions such as the Knowledge Economy Network (KEN), ICPE’s partner organization, were expressed.
