On Wednesday 30th of September, Director General, ICPE met HE Mr Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia. The President informed the DG that he has always been aware of the potential of ICPE and keenly interested in its activities. He asked the DG to meet him more often with or without appointment.
The President asked his Senior Adviser Dr Boštjan Žekš to look into the matters relating to ICPE’s relationship with various ministries of the Government. Dr Alja Brglez, head of the Cabinet of the President reviewed the relationship of ICPE with various ministries, especially the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports and suggested that the DG meet the Minister and call a meeting of Interministerial Group for implementation of memorandum of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and ICPE early.
