Between Monday, 30 May and Friday, 3 June 2016, ICPE is organizing a one week International Best Practice Study Tour, in cooperation with the National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), India. 26 senior officers of Government of India are participating at the programme, accompanied by Mr. Mahesh Edla, NISG Course Director and Mr. Rajesh Loona, Senior Consultant, National e-Governance Division.
The one-week programme incorporates best practices of Slovenian IT and e-Governance initiatives, including visits to Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Slovenia, Administrative Unite Ljubljana, Chamber of Commmerce and Industry of the Republic of Slovenia, Municipality of Ljubljana, Telekom Slovenia, Public Holding Ljubljana, DARS and demonstrations by senior officials of the Ministry of Public Administration of the Republic of Slovenia and lectures by renowned experts on IT and e-Governance. The participants will also visit Bled Lake, Postojna Cave and Vienna, Austria, where they will be exposed to the UN Vienna Information Centre, Austrian Parliament, e-Governance platform Digital Austria as well as visit at the Smart City Vienna Agency.
