On Monday 11 July, ICPE commenced a two week ICPE International Attachment – Advanced Professional Course, which is organized in cooperation with the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), India. 10 senior officers of Government of India are participating in the programme accompanied by Mr. Sitangshu Chakrabortty, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Prof.Dr. Gur Saroop Sood, Course Director, NIFM. The inauguration was graced by the presence of H.E. Mr. Sarvajit Chakravarti, Ambassador of India.
During the training the participants will be exposed to various topics of financial management, such as internal budget in EU, European Monetary Union, auditing, public finance in Slovenia, as well as to good practice cases and presentations, such as European Green Capital 2016, Commission for Prevention of Corruption and E-invoicing, institutional visits to IMAD, SPIRIT and a discussion with the high level officials of City Municipality Maribor. Apart from Slovenia, the group will be visiting Italy, Austria and Belgium for visits to the International Organisations – UN in Vienna and European Commission in Brussels.
