INVITATION: WORLD HINDI DAY AT ICPE

You are kindly invited to the cultural event at the occasion of World Hindi Day which will take place on Tuesday, 10th January 2017 at 19:00 at ICPE Auditorium, Dunajska 104, Ljubljana. The event will start with a welcome by Dr. Anand Asthana, Director General of ICPE. Prof. Dr. Arun Prakash Mishra, former head of Hindi department at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, will give a presentation on Hindi language and literature. His students will receive special certificates for learning Hindi. There will be also musical performances by vocalists Rupa Chakravarti, Lasanthi Manranjani and Urška Kastelic as well as Boris Šinigoj on sarod and Vasja Štukelj on tabla along with dance performances by Raqs Roshni Dance Company with Rajasthani folk dance, Navrai Majhi dance by choreographer Prakriti Gaur, Sylvia Valentine, inspired by a movie choreography and Hemant Devara’s bollywood performance with Kathak influence.The evening will close with a speech by the Ambassador of India to Slovenia, H. E. Sarvajit Chakravarti.
