On October 26, 2023, ICPE delegates met with His Excellency Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania in Rome to discuss collaborative opportunities. The meeting, hosted at the Tanzanian Embassy, signified ICPE’s eagerness to rekindle ties with Tanzania, concentrating on establishing targeted, result-driven training programs.
Discussions revolved around ICPE’s potential to tailor training for Tanzania’s public administration and state-owned enterprises. Ambassador Kombo highlighted the need for mutually beneficial and practical outcomes in future collaborations. Both parties concurred on creating impactful programs, especially in sectors like social security, pension funds, water management, and judiciary training, affirming the importance of crafting education and training programs that resonate with Tanzania’s developmental aspirations. The dialogue meeting with a shared commitment to exploring cooperative endeavours, maintaining an optimistic perspective on future initiatives that align with Tanzania’s development goals.
