On 10 September 2025, the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) took part in the ENRICH in LAC Partnership Webinar, dedicated to “Innovation Ecosystems in Europe & LAC – Synergies & Opportunities.”
Mr David Tavželj presented the organization’s mandate and recent shift of focus from training to the execution of goal-oriented pilot projects. He highlighted ICPE’s flagship initiative in Kenya, supporting the transfer of bacteriophage technology in agriculture, and explained how a similar model is being introduced in other ICPE member states.
During the session, ICPE outlined how governments, chambers of commerce, enterprises, and research institutions can engage with its intergovernmental platform, and underlined its commitment to frugal innovation, fair use of technology, and customized capacity-building support for developing countries.
ICPE looks forward to further collaboration with ENRICH in LAC and its network in Latin America and the Caribbean.
