On Monday, 10 July 2017 ICPE inaugurated a one week International Training Programme on Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Management, in cooperation with the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM), India . 19 senior officers of the Government of India are participating in the programme, accompanied by Mr. KS Gopinath Narayan, NIFM Course Director and Ms. Swayamprava Pani, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
The participants will be exposed to best practices of Financial Management in the EU and specifically in Slovenia. Other topics will be related to Public incentives in infrastructure, Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, Public sector accountancy in the EU, strategic planning of budgeting, implementation of monetary policy in the Euro area, Fiscal policy of European Union, supervision of state accounts, integrity of public officers and India-EU relations.
