In cooperation with Institute of Secretariat training and Management (ISTM), ICPE organized a two week overseas training program (02 – 11 March 2016) for Officers of the Government of India. The program, attended by 30 senior government officials of Government of India together with ISTM Course Director Mr Rajesh K. Agrawal and Mr Gopalan Srinivasan, ISTM observer, commenced on Wednesday, 2nd March at the ICPE headquarters. Course Director, ICPE, Mr David Tavželj welcomed the participants and the Ambassador of India to Slovenia Mr Sarvajit graced the audience as the guest of honour.
In the two week program the participants were exposed to various administrative, economic and financial bodies of the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, Ljubljana Town Hall, SPIRIT Agency, Regional Development Agency of Ljubljana Urban Region, Court of Audit, Bank of Slovenia, Triglav National Park as well as some private enterprises, that are engaged in insurance – Zavarovalnica Maribor, instrastructure – ZRMK Gradbeni inštitut and Eco Silver House.
Participants also visited Trieste and Venice in Italy and Vienna in Austria, where they visited the Austrian Parliament and the United Nations Office at Vienna, UNIDO, OSCE and the Digital Austria platform.
The program was completed on Friday, 11th March at the Indian Embassy in Vienna, where the group was accompanied by Mr Nenad Stanković, Assistant Course Director, ICPE.
