On 9 October 2025, the representatives of International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) Mr Jure Tomc, Advisor and Dr Nenad Stanković, Representative in Vienna visited the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Vienna. The meeting, held with His Excellency Dr Hasan Khaddour, Ambassador of Syria, focused on reactivating cooperation between ICPE and Syria, a longstanding member state of the Organization.
The discussions highlighted potential areas for collaboration aligned with Syria’s development priorities, particularly in infrastructure rehabilitation, water management, and sustainable development. ICPE also presented several ongoing international initiatives that could serve as models for future engagement in Syria.
Both sides expressed readiness to continue dialogue and explore the most effective modalities for cooperation, including the organization of follow-up consultations and joint efforts to identify suitable partners and financial mechanisms for prospective projects. The meeting reaffirmed the mutual commitment to strengthening ties and advancing shared objectives in the field of international development cooperation.
