In cooperation with Institute of Secretariat training and Management (ISTM), ICPE is organizing a two-week overseas training program (05 – 14 May 2016) for Officers of the Government of India. ISTM, located in New Delhi (India) is an “Attached Office” under the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India. The program, attended by 29 senior government officials of Government of India together with Course Director Ms Geetha Nair and observer Mr A.N Narayanan, commenced on Thursday, 5 May at the ICPE headquarters. DG, ICPE, Dr Anand Asthana welcomed the participants and the Ambassador of India to Slovenia Mr Sarvajit Chakravarti graced the inauguration with his presence as the guest of honor.
In the two-week program the participants will exposed to the National Assembly, various governmental agencies, enterprises and good practices of management and policy initiatives in the Republic of Slovenia. Apart from cultural exposure in Slovenia, participants will also visit Port of Trieste and Venice, Italy and Vienna in Austria, where they will see the Austrian Parliament, OSCE and visit the United Nations Vienna International Centre, with meetings at UNIDO and UNODC.
